Notes from the President:

What an exciting meeting we had in Minneapolis.  Thank you to all who participated in this event.  This year we had participation from laboratories and suppliers throughout the United States, Canada as well as Brazil.  All told , over 60 of us had  time to meet the  manufacturers,  tour 2 of their facilities,  as well as discuss some good down to earth lab issues at all 3 manufacturer workshops.  A special thank you to Antel Bio for their presentations on Elisa tests for the future and Johnes.  Rick Bealer and I were elected to another 3 year term.  Next years NALMA meeting will be different than the past several years.  We will meet jointly with the International Committee of Animal Recording in Niagara Falls New York the week of June 16th.  There will be many opportunities for the NALMA members to present papers / presentation at the upcoming meeting in 2008.  We would like to ask the NALMA members to contact us or National DHI.  We also have the commitment of hearing from one the largest labs in the world to present to us.  Thanks again for the great meeting and please feel free to contact the NALMA committee with questions or suggestions for next years meeting.  Go to the newsletter page on the NALMA website for a link to presentations from this year and links to next years meeting.  WWW.NALMA.org
